This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver is built for everyday towing and heavy use. With a 5,000-lb maximum gross trailer weight and a 500-lb tongue weight, it handles small campers, boats, and utility trailers with ease. When used with weight distribution, those capacities bump up to 6,500 lbs GTW and 650 lbs tongue weight. The 2" x 2" receiver opening works with ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers so you can haul what you need without swapping parts or using adapters.
You don’t need a lift or special tools to get this hitch on your vehicle. The fully welded design bolts directly to the frame using the included hardware—no drilling or welding required. The precision, robotic welds make the fit exact, which means the holes line up right where they should. A simple bolt-on install makes this an easy weekend project for most folks working in their driveway.

Great product - small indentation/groove on the receptacle helps prevent it from rusting shut, which is what happened to my previous factory hitch.
Exactly what I needed for my 2006 Sequoia that came from the factory without the towing package. For those of you like me, just FYI you will also need the "tow tail" relay. Got mine for $20 at auto zone.

Excellent product. Perfect fit. Well built. It took less than 30 minutes to install. Quick delivery. Received the trailer hitch two days after placing the order. A lot of companies that offer free shipping will ship the product snail mail. Not the case with etrailer.
Great quality I have come to expect from Curt products. Easy install to replace 23 year old hitch that had become rusted in place. A little anti-seize on the new frame rail bolts helped as the permanent nuts had some corrosion. etrailer's service and communication was outstanding as usual.
The website made it easy to order exactly what I needed. I placed the order on a Sunday morning. On Sunday afternoon, Chedi called me to say one item was out of stock. He suggested an alternative which made sense. The order arrived correctly and completely on the following Wednesday. The hitch fit perfectly, and the trailer wiring connector installed without effort.
I thought the wiring harness sent for the brake controller was wrong, as it would not fit the vehicle connector. Chedi responded to my email question by kindly pointing out that I just didn't realize there was a cap on the vehicle connector. User error, big time! I pulled off the cap, and everything fit.
This is the second time I've ordered from etrailer.com. Both times have been very satisfying. I recommend them highly!
I like it because of the easy installation. Perfect fit. Delivered in 2-3 days excellent. Plan on towing small objects and riding lawnmower. Now keeps me from borrowing a truck with trailer all the time to move things. Thanks

The hitch works as it should and is heavy duty for sure. I don’t know if it was supposed to come with the hardware but out of the 10 bolts that need to be installed with it only came with one in the box. So I went to Home Depot and got bolts but other than that fits well and I’ve launched my boat four times already without any issues. I still give it a five star and I highly recommend it to those people looking to buy it, is well worth the money.!!

The hitch works awesome. I tow a 6000 pound camper with it now as well as my boat and it does a really nice job so far. It’s heavy duty and well worth the money.
