Question:
Hi, Im interested in purchasing this hitch for my 2018 Jeep Renegade. I would like to see the installation instructions on this before purchasing, to see how involved it is to install. I noticed that there was no option to download the manual for this yet. Thanks

EcoHitch won't allow us to link the installation instructions in our product descriptions, but I can certainly send you a .pdf copy in a separate email.
The installation of the EcoHitch # EH83VR isn't too involved, but will require that a 6-3/4 by 2-1/2 inch portion of the rear fascia be notched to fit around the receiver tube. The plus side is that the only portion of the hitch that will be visible from the rear is the receiver opening and the safety chain loops. The majority of the hitch will be concealed behind the bumper and fascia.
Unless you just absolutely hate the appearance of a hitch, I'd recommend going with the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13269. Granted most of the hitch will be visible from the rear, but the Curt hitch is about half the cost of the EcoHitch and won't require any visible modifications to the vehicle. I'll link to the installation instructions and an install video. I'll also provide a photo showing what the Curt hitch looks like when installed.
