Third Brake Light Camera Options For 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500

Question:

Custom Third Brake Light Camera for Aftermarket Monitor - Night Vision - 3460012. I have a 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 work truck. It has a backup camera in the tailgate. I do not have any toggle switches on the console to switch the carmeras. What other parts will I need to install this on my truck and use the existing display?

So the Custom Third Brake Light Camera for Aftermarket Monitor # 3460012 is only designed to work with trucks that do not already have a factory reverse camera, and also wouldn't allow you to use your existing display. Since you mentioned you have one with your 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500, you will need a different option, depending on what size your factory monitor is, with your options being the following:

- 7" Factory Monitor: Custom Third Brake Light Camera # 3460011

- 8" Factory Monitor: Custom Third Brake Light Camera # 3460010

This will allow you to use your existing display and give you a truck bed camera. I have added links below to a video review as well as an install on a Silverado 2500 for you to check out.
