Question:

Hi, I have a 2020 ram 2500 that I use for unloaded daily driving and towing a jayco eagle ht 284bhok about once a month during the warm Midwest months. I use an equalizer 14k hitch currently, but while towing we experience a lot of bouncing and a very uncomfortable ride on concrete sections of the interstate. Would the airlift 7500xl or the airlift 5000 with internal jounce bumpers be a better fit for my application? I don’t want to make the daily unloaded ride any worse than it is but want to improve the ride quality while towing our camper. Thank you for your help!

If you're hoping to not affect the ride quality of your 2020 Ram 2500 while it is unloaded, then I recommend going with the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers, part # AL88289. The 7500 XL, part # AL57589, has a higher weight capacity, making it more rigid.

Besides, your Jayco Eagle HT 284BHOK has a tongue weight of 1080 pounds, so the 7500 XL would be overkill.
