Question:
I just bought a new Power wagon,it had a fifth wheel installed already,I had it installed prior to picking up the truck,Im a trucker,so pulling a fifth wheel is not the problem, the problem is,the pw sits rather high and I wanted a truck with power, but dont know what I need for suspension to pull at least a 29ft fifth wheel travel trailer safely, should have done more research prior to buy ting it, but its too late now,any suggestions,

According to Ram the 2016 Power Wagon has a towing capacity of 9,800 pounds. The trailer you choose cannot weigh more than this when loaded and ready to tow. If it is a Laramie Power Wagon it is rated for a max of 12,450 pounds. And if it is a Tradesman Power Wagon it is rated for 12,650 pounds.
For your 2016 Ram Power Wagon I recommend adding Timbren springs # TDR2500D which will fit 2- or 4-wheel drive models with or without overload springs. These springs will prevent the rear of the truck from sagging when towing the 5th wheel trailer or when carrying heavy loads in the bed. And these helper springs mount to the bottoms of the frame rails so they will not interfere with the 5th wheel installation brackets already present on your truck.
If you want more adjustability and smoother ride I recommend AirLift air bag helper springs # AL88289. These also have a jounce bumper inside and they mount to the bottoms of the frame. Either option above is going to provide the additional support and stability while towing a 5th wheel hitch that you are looking for.
Regarding the height of the truck most 5th wheel hitches and 5th wheel trailer pin boxes are height adjustable so that will help to keep the trailer level while towing.

Michael, Why the difference in towing. My 6.4 PW has the same engine (6.4) same trans and 4.10 gears as the Tradesman and the Laramie?
