Troubleshooting New Solera RV Awning Strut LC280343 Not Holding Up Awning

Question:

I purchased two gas struts #280343 from amazon. They do not hold up my rv awning. This is the same number as the one on my RV now. Am I doing something wrong?

Assuming you got the correct strut from Amazon if you have the # LC280343 on your RV currently this should be the correct replacement. There isn't an easy way to install these wrong as well so it's also possible the ones you got are bad. Older shocks needed to be pumped a couple times before you'd install them so you might try that and see if the pressure changes.
