hi! can you tell me the best way to get the ball into the socket? its harder than it looks!

Yakima recommends the use of a rubber mallet to get the ball into the socket of the # 8880683. Since plastic is a bit more flexible when warm you might take a heat gun or blow dryer to warm everything up and allow it to fit easier.
