Can this fan be mounted thru a wall instead of the roof?

Yes, if you'd like you would be able to mount the MaxxFan Dome roof vent on its side. I have added a photo that a customer sent in showing the same vent (in black) mounted on its side; the vent is designed to fit roofs (or walls) that are between 1" and 6" thick so as long as you have that thickness, you can mount it on the side.

This vent is available in either white or black:

- White: MaxxFan Dome Roof Vent with 12V Fan # MA00-03812W

- Black: MaxxFan Dome Roof Vent with 12V Fan # MA00-03812B

The vent does come with mounting hardware, but if you also need the sealant to finish the install you can use the Silicone Sealant # 0160297.
