Can Switch Be Added to MaxxFan Dome Roof Vent to Regulate Fan Speed

How loud is the fan when running? Can a switch be added to lower Rpm of fan?

When we installed the MaxxFan Dome Roof Vent # MA00-03812W the installer described it as a "nice gentle hum" so it is not very loud. You can hear it in the installation video attached below if you jump to the 2 minute mark. Also yes, you can add in a switch to change the speed of the fan.
