Question:
Can I bolt this on to a school bus bumper? It has a solid steel bumper to create a hitch mount for accessories for example cargo carrier or bike rack etc. nothing too heavy under 500 lbs. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

The Buyers Receiver # 3371804055 can be used in quite a few applications. As to your school bus bumper, there really shouldn't be any issues. I will say, however, that you will want to make sure there is a good amount of support on the bumper, especially where the # 3371804055 is going to be installed. If it is a little lacking, I would suggest shoring it up with a few braces for added support. I should also mention that the bumper on your bus is most likely not rated to be towed with, so I would keep it just to bike racks or cargo carriers.
If you would like to tow with the bus at some point, I highly suggest going with a hitch that would attach to the frame of the vehicle. The Curt # C13701 will adjust from 18 inches wide all the way to 51 inches wide, making it fit most large vehicle. This will also have a 500 pound tongue weight and a 5,000 pound towing capacity.
