Recommended Trailer Hitch for an International 3800 School Bus

Question:

I am looking for a receiver hitch for my 1998 International 3800 school bus. The measurement between the chassis is 34” with a 2-hole bolt pattern on each side. I would be happy to provide pics as needed. The hitch would probably be a Class 5 to enable my bus to pull my 2004 Toyota Tacoma.

The best trailer hitch option we have for an International 3800 School Bus is the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 41990-16. This hitch is a great option as it can be bolted-on (once drilled) or welded, the brackets can also be adjusted to get a snug fit on the bumper.

It sounds like you are looking for something that will match up with the existing holes but that simply won't be an option, they don't have any true bolt-on hitches for this application so a custom option like the above is the best course of action.
