Recommended Hitch Extender For Towing Boat Trailer With 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD W/ In-Bed Camper

I have a 2007 2500HD Silverado 8 foot bed with a 109 inch camper. I want to be able to tow my 6900lb boat. It has a 2.5inch Class V factory receiver. Will this work or will I need a different hitch and what extension will I need?

I have another option for you, but the TorkLift Cannon Hitch Extension - 3" Ford Super Duty Factory Hitch - 48" Long # TLE1648 you were looking at is only a fit for the factory 3" trailer hitch receivers on a 2017 or newer Ford Super Duty Pickup.
For your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD New Body style with the 8' Bed you will need to replace you factory trailer hitch receiver with the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - Dual 2" Receivers # TLC1205 which is confirmed to fit your vehicle, and will allow you to use the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extender.
If you can get away with the 28" long extender # TLE1528 it has a maximum tongue weight rating of 750lbs and a maximum trailer weight rating of 7500lbs so it would be perfect for towing your 6900lb boat trailer.
If you need the longer 42" extender # TLE1542 you will will need to add a weight distribution hitch to your boat trailer as this extender only has a maximum tongue weight rating of 600lbs and a maximum trailer weight rating of 6000lbs but a weight distribution hitch increases these capacities to 1200lb tongue weight and 12000lb trailer weight.
To determine the correct weight distribution hitch you will need to know the total tongue weight of your setup which is the tongue weight of your fully loaded and ready to tow trailer plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your Silverado (this includes your in-bed camper). The easiest way to get an accurate tongue weight measurement is with a tongue weight scale like the # e99044 but there are other methods listed in the included help article.
If you can let me know the total tongue weight of your setup I would be happy to recommend a weight distribution hitch for you should you need the 42" extender.
