Features to know about

Complete Kit to Keep Your Truck Level Under Load

f69xv air bags

When your truck squats under a heavy trailer or bed load, it throws off balance, braking, and steering. This Ride-Rite kit fixes that by adding air bags that work with your factory suspension to level the truck and restore control. With the air bags, compressor, ECU (electronic control unit), and wireless app all working together, your truck stays level, your headlights stay aimed where they should, and your braking stays consistent. The double-convoluted design delivers up to 5,000 lbs of load support, smoothing out rough roads and giving you a steadier ride even with heavy weight on board.

Effortless Air Management, Right From Your Phone

Forget climbing in and out of your cab just to get your stance right. With Firestone's wireless system, you open the app on your phone, set the pressure, and watch your truck level out right where you're standing. You can inflate or deflate your air bags from the cab or out by the hitch, level out at the campsite, or fine-tune pressure on the fly.

Everything You Need in One Box

Firestone built this kit so you can get the job done without chasing parts. You get the air bags, compressor, wireless controller setup, custom-fit brackets, fittings, lines, and a bolt-on mount for the compressor - no drilling required. The brackets line up with factory attachment points, cutting down on guesswork and helping each piece fit where it should. Depending on your experience, the install can take up to a day, but everything you need is right in the box.

Built to Beat Rust and Road Grime

If you drive in snow, salt, or coastal air, you know how tough corrosion can be on metal parts. Firestone uses plated, coated, or brass components to help protect them from rust and wear, so your suspension stays strong season after season.

Firestone Quality You Can Count On

Firestone's been building air suspension longer than most of us have been driving. Made in the USA and backed by a lifetime air bag warranty, each kit is built for years of dependable towing, hauling, and everyday use.

2022 GMC Sierra 2500

Installed on a 2022 GMC 2500HD AT4, stock suspension. The install of the airbags themselves were easy enough. As others noted the lower support brackets didn't quite align so I had to grind a little bit off for a better fit and alignment of the airbags. Easy enough. My frustration was with the installation of the easy mount compressor. There were no clear instructions on where to mount it with the supplied bracket. I bought this set up thinking it would be easy and no drilling necessary. That was not the case. I ended up drilling to mount the ECU and compressor spending more time than I wanted to. I paid extra for nothing. Wiring installation was a breeze. The firestone app is a bit slow and very quirky. The compressor tends to overrun even after only 15 seconds of either airing up or bleeding air. Often says I have a pressure leak when I don't have a leak. I've verified over and over. The app always resets itself and provides the correct inflation value. I would not go with the bluetooth option again. A dedicated remote is what I should have went with. Bags inflate wonderfully and work as advertised.

Thanks so much for the detailed review. We really appreciate you sharing both the good and the frustrating parts of your experience. We’re glad to hear the air bags themselves are working great, but we completely understand how disappointing the Easy Mount compressor and Bluetooth app experience was, especially after paying extra for the convenience. Your feedback on the mounting instructions and app quirks is incredibly helpful for other customers and for Firestone. One quick tip that may help with the overrun and false leak warnings is to double check that the compressor ground is tied directly to the vehicle frame and not shared with other accessories, and that all air line cuts are perfectly square. That can make a noticeable difference with the wireless system’s pressure readings.

Very easy install, I really can not give a honest opinion yes because I have not taken it out of the garage yet! Seems to be very good quality! I put Firestone ride rite bags on one of my other vehicles 20 years ago and have zero problems ever!

2024 GMC Sierra 2500

Installation was easy and simple with just everyday tools. Had plenty of airline but could have had some extra intake line as I wanted the intake filter up under the hood for easy access. Haven’t had the chance to put it to use yet but I know it will help.

I like how the Firestone All-in-one comes with everything I needed without needing to piece together a bunch of parts. The best part is that the air bags and the compressor system come in one package, so everything is already matched and ready to install. I still had to mount the compressor myself, but there’s no guesswork on what works with what.

Installation takes a little time, but the bags make a noticeable difference. They level out the truck, cut down on squat, and help everything feel more stable when you’re towing. And with the onboard compressor, I can add or remove air whenever I need, without carrying around a bulky compressor or stopping at the gas station.

It’s a solid, well-built kit that simplifies the whole process. For anyone who tows often and wants a clean, all-in-one solution, it’s a great fit.

Nice product , easy installation and a big improvement to towing and ride handling

by:

They actually improved my ride. I have some stiff shocks that hit pretty hard when hitting a dip In the road. They actually smoothed out the hit. Very happy.

by:

It's only been a week since installed but so far so good

Awesome product delivery was fast.

I did receive my order and it was put under the christmas tree. Looked like the box was packaged by firestone and etrailer reshipped to me. When I opened the box, the parts had not been individually wrapped or or any packing materials were used. The powder coating had been chipped off of several parts. This will not effect the air bags and the parts should last as long as I have the truck. It is the fact that this could have been avoided. Looking forward to warmer weather for the installation.

by:

Part was missing bolts right out of box. After getting right parts and performing installation. I can’t get the ecm to connect to Bluetooth to control of of phone. I am having to manually fill and empty airbags when needed. Seems really pointless purchasing compressor with ecm if they don’t work. After looking on forums it seems like everyone that has purchased this is having the same problems. Highly don’t recommend this product. Still waiting for Firestone to respond to my problem going on 3 months no response.

I am very sorry to hear this Cody. I reached out to Firestone, and this is what they said back: I would recommend first checking that the fuse is on the positive side. We often see due to color coating that these get swapped around. Secondly, what is the passkey you are entering to connect to the system? Is the vehicle on when trying to connect? What app are you using? Please send screenshots of the app and what it is doing when trying to connect.  You can send the picture by responding directly to the email you receive. I look forward to getting this to work properly =)

  • Looking For An Airbag Kit For My 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 AT4
Hey JB, The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bags # F64XV are the correct airbags for your 2024 GMC Sierra AT4 trim. These are a no drill installation and bolt right up to your vehicle. With the on board compressor you can air up at any time. This kit is also compatible with an in bed hitch if you are doing any towing. What are you looking to get this airbags for?

  • 2025 Silverado 2500 Front Axle Feels Light And Brakes Are Bad When Towing 10k Camper
Devon, you’re describing front-axle unload, and adjustable airbags are one of the best fixes to reverse that squatting on the back end. With the Firestone air spring all-in-one kit # F64XV, you can air up the rear until your truck returns to a level, neutral stance. That puts weight and traction back on the front axle so your braking and steering feel more planted. Not a lot of people realize the connection between those. Most people with a 10k camper end up around 25–45 PSI, but you can...

  • Does Firestone Air Suspension Upgrade Work On 2025 Silverado 2500 With B&W 5th Wheel Hitch?
Yes sir! The Firestone air bag kit with compressor # F64XV is fully compatible with in-bed hitches on the 2025 Silverado 2500. Firestone’s brackets mount to different factory points than the B&W rails, so they don’t interfere. Just confirm the factory jounce bumper assembly is still in place (it always should be unless you’ve got a big lift). If you do have a lift kit and still have the factory jounce bumper brackets in place, I can help you match the right spacer. What 5th wheel are...

  • 2025 Silverado 2500 Feels Sloppy When Towing Car Hauler - Back End Dips And Is Less Stable
Good morning Ramon! Ahh yes, that rear squat is taking stability away, and airbags are exactly what you want. The Ride-Rite # F64XV lets you bump up the pressure until the rear returns to level, which keeps your suspension travel where it should be and reduces sway you feel through the seat. Being able to adjust pressure from your phone makes it super easy to load up, stand at the coupler, and tune the truck in real time. There are also "set it and forget" products like Timbren jounce...

  • 2025 Silverado 2500 Headlights Point Up And Back Squats When Pulling Equipment Trailer
Jason, that’s a classic Silverado squat issue, and the cleanest fix is adding some rear suspension enhancement. I prefer an adjustable rear support like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Suspension with wireless compressor # F64XV. Those air bags give you up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling support, so you can bring the rear right back to factory ride height. Since this kit is wireless, you can stand next to the trailer jack, watch the truck rise, and stop when your stance and headlights look right...

  • Will Firestone Air Bag Suspension Upgrade Work On 2025 Silverado 2500 With 4 Inch Lift Kit?
Hey Tyler, yes, as long as your factory jounce bumper and bracket are still in the original location, the Firestone air bag kit # F64XV can absolutely fit your lifted Silverado. You’ll just need the right Firestone spacer to restore air-spring height. For a 4-inch rear lift, that’s usually going to be the Firestone 4 inch spacer # F2370. That said, the best way to know for sure is by installing the air lift setup, THEN measure the distance between the upper and lower air bag brackets....

  • Does the Connector Kit for DeeZee Truck Bed Auxiliary Tank Have a Check Valve?
Hey Tim, welcome back. The Connector Kit for DeeZee Truck Bed Auxiliary Tank item # DZ97960 does not have a check valve to prevent overflowing your OEM fuel tank. It's got a manual shutoff to stop the flow of fuel into a auxiliary tank like the DeeZee item # DZ92556N you purchased. I do not have an alternative connector kit that includes a check valve. Please note that on newer trucks like your 2025 Sierra 2500, you will not want to leave the valve open on the item # DZ97960. You'll set...

  • Suspension Upgrade To Help Squatting 2025 Sierra 2500 When Pulling Gooseneck Stock Trailer
Renee, gooseneck pin weight loads the rear hard, and airbags are one of the best upgrades you can make. The Firestone airbag suspension upgrade kit # F64XV adds up to 5,000 lbs of leveling support, getting your Sierra back to a stable, controlled stance. The wireless setup lets you fine-tune PSI at the barn or the campground without climbing in and out of the cab. I think you'll really like this setup! Do you know the loaded pin weight?

  • My New 2025 Sierra 2500 Drops 2 Inches In Back When Towing. Is This Normal?
Brian, that’s a textbook scenario where the trailer is weighing down the factory suspension, and yes it's common even on a brand new truck. The Firestone Air Bag Suspension Upgrade for your 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 # F64XV lets you tune the rear suspension until the truck and trailer are level and working together as one solid unit. Restoring the rear ride height improves braking, stability, and even headlight aim. And because it’s a single-path system, both bags inflate evenly and you don't...

  • How To Stop 2025 Sierra 2500 From Sitting Nose High And Having Loose Steering When Pulling Camper
Angela, that nose-high stance is unloading your Sierra’s front axle. The most effective fix is adding load support in the rear, and the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bag Kit # F64XV does exactly that. Bring the rear back to level, and your steering feel and braking come right back with it. Since the kit is wireless, you can raise the rear from 5–100 PSI while watching the truck settle. Do you know how much the trailer squats the truck? You may also want a weight distribution hitch on the back...

Cole, you’re good - the Firestone air bag suspension kit # F64XV will fit a lifted Sierra as long as your factory jounce bumper and its bracket are still there. Firestone even offers lift spacers to match rear lift height. For 2 inches, you’d likely use the Firestone 2 inch spacer # F2366 if it 's a true 2" lift/level kit on your truck currently. Other than measuring your exact level kit, the other way is to install the air bag kit and measure from the top bracket to the bottom air bag...

Hey Nate, thanks for asking. What you’re feeling is the rear squatting and pulling weight off the front axle which is very common when loading down a truck that has factory suspension. Adding the Firestone air bag upgrade # F64XV lets you lift the rear back to level, which restores front brake bite and steering feel. Most of the time people end up running 30–50 PSI, but the app makes it easy to dial in exactly what your Sierra needs as every situation is a bit different. Do you have a...
