Question:
I purchased from you On-Off Elbow for Yakima RoadShower but cant remove the original cap on the side of the road shower in order to install the additional elbow. Nothing from my tools fits - frustrating. Didnt find any info in the product description. Please advise what kind of tool is needed for this. Thank you!

The On-Off Elbow for Yakima RoadShower, part # Y04103, is threaded on both attachment points. When replacing this elbow, you will need to use a crescent wrench. There may be some sealant in the fittings, making it more difficult to un-attach. With enough torque, it will.
Of course, if you are trying to add an additional elbow to the other end, then there is a cap there. In that case, the cap is still threaded. I spoke with Yakima regarding this kind of installation, and the same method should apply since the cap is also threaded in. If you have the newer one, the cap should have a bolt that a crescent wrench can unscrew. If you have the older one, it's still a threaded cap, but it might not have a graspable outer piece. In that case, try using a pair of needle-nose pliers to see if you can get a better grip that way.
