What Brake Thickness Should Dexter 5,200 lb Trailer Brake Assemblies be Replaced At

can you tell me what the service limit is on the brake pads for a 12x2 magnetic brake on a 5200lb dexter trailer 15 in wheel ,how thick should the material be? i measure roughly .25 inch including the metal bonding plate. thx for your help

On 5,200 lb Dexter brake assemblies you'd want to replace the brake pads when they have gotten thinner than 1/16 of an inch. So since you are at 1/4 of an inch yours are still fine.
