Question:

Id like to use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 # C53HR with our 2016 Volvo XC90 T8. Id like to use it with the Volvo OEM wiring harness and controller so I can get the dealer installed software for stability control, backup camera tow bar function, and trailer lighting checks. The question I had was is there a location on Draw-Tite to mount the factory wiring harness?

I have a solution for you, but the Curt # C53HR does not have a spot to mount your trailer wiring harness. However, you can add one using either the Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144 or Curt Mounting Bracket for 7-Way Connector Plug # C67UR.

The Curt bracket doesn't come with any hardware like the # 18144 but you can use some self tapping screws like the Self-Tapping Screw - 1/4" -14 x 3/4" Long - Zinc # FA1131822 to mount this to the fascia.
