Can I Use My Yakima OnRamp 1-1/4 Shank On A 2" Hitch Reciever?

Can I use a RockyMounts 1-1/4 to 2 Hitch Adapter Sleeve Item # RKY54FR to convert a 1 1/4 Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack hitch? thanks

We can get a 1-1/4 hitch accessory in a 2 inch hitch without modifying the accessory. Use this hitch reducer # HT02 to convert your 2" hitch to a 1-1/4" hitch. You cant use the RockyMounts adapter sleeve # RKY54FR is because the shank does not have a smaller threaded hole to hold it into place. If you haven't already bought the 1-1/4" version of the Yakima OnRamp # Y96FR you can get the 2" version # Y36FR.
