I would be happy to recommend the correct trailer hitch receiver and wiring harness for your 2021 Toyota Highlander Platinum Hybrid but we do not have a kit that includes both.
Starting with the trailer hitch receiver I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e75ZR which is a hidden design where only the receiver tube will show. It will accommodate spare tires up to 18".
Moving on to the trailer wiring harness you will need the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236 if you do NOT have the factory tow package, or the # TK74FR if you do.
Lastly to complete your towing setup you will also need a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
