We have electric brakes that have the weight capacity for a tandem axle trailer with a nearly 24,000 lb GVWR, and I can tell you how to determine if they will fit, but we don't have any way of knowing the correct brakes for a 1994 Trail King trailer. The electric brakes that do have the capacity you need are the following:
- Electric Trailer Brake Kit w/ Dust Shields - Self-Adjusting - 12-1/4" - Left/Right Hand - 12K # AKEBRK-12
These brakes measure 12-1/4" diameter x 5" wide, so in order to determine if they will work the first thing you need to do is measure your trailer's drum, and it should be the same diameter and width as these brakes. The other thing you need to do is ensure you have the correct brake mounting flange on your axle; these brakes will only work if you have a 7-bolt mounting flange so you'll need to verify that's what you have.
To mount these brakes you will also need the Mounting Bolts and Hardware for 12-1/4" Brake Assemblies - 10,000 lbs to 15,000 lbs # BRKH122510.
I have added links below to video reviews for you to check out as well.
