Upgrading from 6 Lug to 8 Lug On Dexter 6K Axle

Question:

I’ve got a 2019 Keystone Cougar 369BHS. Currently has Dexter 6k axles Dexter # 6760401 with 6 bolt hubs. I’d like to upgrade to an 8 bolt hub so I can use some different wheels I’ve got. While it appears I need part # 8-219-4UC3-EZ, it looks like that kit may come with the wrong sized bearings. Can I still use that kit and get different bearings, or is there another hub and drum set that would work for these axles and still be 8 on 6-1/2. Thank you!

In order to upgrade from a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern to a 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern on a Dexter 6K Axle you'll need the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # 42866UC3-EZ. The Dexter 5,200 lb - 7,000 lb axles all have the same size bearings.
