There is a trailer wiring kit confirmed to work with your 2020 Toyota Prius Prime.
I am also attaching a link to a hitch receiver for your vehicle if you do not already have one # C11473.
The Curt # C56371 is the wiring kit you want for your vehicle.
This kit simply plugs into your factory taillight wiring in the trunk and does not required splicing or cutting your factory wiring. You will then have a white wire that needs to be connected to bare metal using the supplied screw, this will be your ground. Then the black wire will be connected to the positive terminal on the battery.
Instructions and all necessary hardware/parts are included.
I am attaching an installation video that will help with this process.
