Hitch Option For 2012 Acura MDX With Full Size Spare Tire

I have a 2012 Acura MDX with a full spare tire. What receiver hitch do you recommend I purchase?

There are two hitch options for your vehicle. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Part # 13354, and the Draw-Tite Max Part # 75614. I have contacted technical departments from both manufacturers to see which option will work with your 2012 Acura MDX with a full size spare. Curt stated that their hitch does NOT fit with a full size spare. Draw-Tite states that their hitch is only confirmed to fit with T165/80/D17 size spare tire. If your spare tire exceeds that size, both hitches can still mount to the vehicle, but you would need to remove and store the spare tire in the cargo area.
