The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-524459-5 is a great option for a 2020 Ford Ranger (All Models) and what I recommend using. If you don't already have a tow bar, it will pair perfectly with the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar part # RM-676. In regards to the wiring, the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit part # RM-154 will integrate into the umbilical and trailer connector that comes with the tow bar or it could be used without.
