Can 7-Way Extension be Used with Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller
Published 12/15/2020 >
Question:
As my 7 pin angles towards ground I want to attach a 3ft extension and then attach the curt echo wireless controller to the extension. This way the cord wont drag on ground. Are there any issues with using a short extension between tow vehicle 7 pin receptacle and the echo controller itself? Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
Adding an extension to your 7-way would not negatively affect the performance of the Curt Echo Mobile # C51180 that you referenced. As long as all of the circuits are active the extension would not have any affect on anything.
