I was wondering if the MegaWarrior would fit my 2017 Crosstrek or if it would be to big and my hatch would end up hitting the rack when opened?

I checked with Yakima and the MegaWarrior part # Y07080 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for the factory crossbars of your 2017 Subaru Crosstrek and will allow the rear hatch to open.
