What To Do if Trailer Hitch Install Weldnut Breaks on Vehicle

Question:

Is there a repair kit for a 2008 honda ridgeline. I went to install a curt tow hitch when doing final torque the bolt spun. What repair solution can you recommend?

Can you back the bolt out of the weld nut or does the weld nut continue to turn with it effectively preventing it from getting removed? This situations get a little tricky and they are very situational but typically it requires getting the old weld nut out of the way and then using an access hole in the frame to fish wire a new carriage bolt and block in it's place.
