Best Trailer Hitch for Bike Rack on a 2014 Toyota RAV4

Hi, Could you recommend some products? I have a Toyota Rav4 2014 LE and a Thule T2 Pro XT 2 bike hitch rack 2 inch. I want a hitch to mount the rack I use the Rav4 on forest roads and would like to have as much clearance as possible. Would you recommend the above products or something else? Finally, the bike rack will obscure my rear number plate. Im contacted the new Mexico MCD home state to ask whether I can get a spare license plate for the bike rack. Do you have any advice for how to mount a license plate onto the bike rack, or alternative suggestions? Thank you for your help!

The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2014 Toyota RAV4 is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13406 which offers a bolt-on install with hidden design that provides the best ground clearance. It has the larger 2" receiver tube opening so you can use pretty much any bike rack without issue.

In regards to displaying the license plate, the Yakima PlateMate License Plate Holder for Bike Racks part # Y02713 will be a great option for this.
