How to Remove Keyless Entry Antenna from Toyota RAV4 When Installing Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch 76134
Published 11/17/2023 >
Question:
How do you remove the keyless entry antenna? looks like its bolted in from the inside of the vehicle. Not shown on any etrailer videos of drawtite 76134 install. I was able to install all bolts finger tight, but wouldnt fully mate due to interference with antenna. Now I have to remove everything and start over? Major omission in your videos.

According to the installation instructions which I have linked at the bottom of the page, "Remove keyless entry antenna: If present, using a 12mm socket remove the keyless entry antenna, second attachment point." It appears on all the installation videos for the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76134 we have none of the vehicles had this option with the antenna. As we have to rely on owners bringing their vehicles to us we cannot choose what all vehicles we get and are not always able to show every different trim with different options such as the antenna.
I cannot find any images or videos that will help with that part of the installation at this time. I would greatly appreciate if you could send in images with this when leaving a review for the receiver as it will help others in the future who might run into the same issue.
