How To Install the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner On Roof Less Than 2-1/2" Thick

Question:
Im taking out my old unit and noticed the opening is 14.5 X 14.5 and the roof is only 2- 2.5 inches thick...... Do i need an adapter for this size and thin roof ?

The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution Box and Start Capacitor part # ACM135C is designed for roofs 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" ranging from 2-1/2" to 5" thick. If the roof thickness does not meet this minimum requirement you can simply make a spacer which you can see in the attached installation video (15:30). The opening size should not be an issue.
