Do you have to cut the bumper cover to allow clearance for the hitch? Pictures posted seem to indicate that however the instructions do not mention it.

As you can see in the provided photo, the hitch sits far enough below the bumper that no trimming is required.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing a trailer, you'll need a few other parts. For a trailer wiring harness, use part # 118651. For a ballmount, use # D-28 and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball or # 63845 for a 2 inch.
