How Far Apart Should the Horst Miracle Probe Sensors be Installed

Hello! Ive got grey water probes sensors to install on a tank. What is the max distance between each sensor?

I spoke with my contact at Valterra for confirmation of the proper way to install the Horst Miracle Probe Sensors, part # T21301VP.
They do not have tests on the maximum distance possible between the sensors, but stated they will work properly if they are installed using your RV black water tank's existing 3/8" diameter holes (by removing the existing sensors from the holes already in your black water tank). If that is not possible, then drilling holes right next to those holes will work as well.
