Hello Domonic, thanks for reaching out. The correct weight distribution (WD) hitch for your 2021 Jayco Jayflight 33RBTS will depend on the loaded tongue weight. According to the online specs the dry hitch weight is 1,045 lbs but this does not account for fuel, batteries or other cargo. Ideally the tongue weight will be around 15% of the total weight, but that kind of depends on how you have things loaded. So most likely your loaded tongue weight will be around 1,400-1,600 lbs. I do suggest you take the loaded trailer to a weigh station or use a tongue weight scale like part # BTBRV44FR to confirm this.

A great WD hitch for this would be the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ64FR. This will work on trailers with a tongue weight between 1,200 and 1,600 lbs. It sounds like your camper will be within that range but we would want to confirm this once it is loaded.

Will I be ok using this hitch even with the underslung coupler on my trailer? I'd want to make sure the trunnion bars are parallel with the trailer frame.

@DomonicK Yes the Equal-i-zer WD hitch I mentioned will work with underslung couplers. You can invert the brackets which lowers them to compensate for the underslung design.
