How To Wire Clearance or Side Marker Light With Single Wire

Question:

Could you please send me a step by step on propertly wiring and connecting the sidemarkers into a circuit for 5th wheel trailers with a 7way plug with junction box sidemarker with one wire 2 bolts that attach to the trailer frame. I just need to know how to properly connect them in a circuit but not have to many wores connected to them. Is there a diagram you could send me. They look similar to the picture attached in this message.

In regards to wiring a clearance or side marker light with one wire like the Optronics Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light part # MC36AB, the wire will be for power. Therefore, you will need to attach this to the power wire on the trailer that the light will be replacing, running your own either inline with an existing clearance or side marker light or to the junction box. If there are wires present, the power will likely be brown but if not you will need to test. The light will then ground through the mounting hardware so no other connection will be needed.

I was not sure if you were adding a new light or replacing and existing so the above will cover both. That said, if this still does not help I would be glad to explain further if you could provide a bit more detail on your setup.
