Question:
With the wiring package #C55585. I want to make sure this is the correct one for my 08 Honda Ridgeline. Does the wiring plug into only behind the drivers tail light or both tail lights? And then do you have an adapter to go from your 4 plug I will install to a 7 pin receiver I can per meanly mount? Thank you,

Yes, the CURT T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector # C55585 is the correct wiring harness for your 2008 Honda Ridgeline. To install this kit you will basically just need to access the tail light harness on both sides of the rear of your vehicle and install the harness from the # C55585 inline with it. Check out the installation instructions I attached that detail this also.
If you need a 4 to 7-way adapter for a trailer that does not have electric brakes you could use a Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole Vehicle End Trailer Connector # 30717. For a permanent installation bracket to go with it you could get a Mounting Bracket # 18138.
If you have trailer brakes and need the 7-way to activate the brakes you would want a Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit # ETBC7. This comes with everything you would need to make the 7-way fully functional so that it can activate trailer brakes. Check out the installation instructions and video I attached for this product also.
With the # ETBC7 you would also need a brake controller if you do not have one to safely activate the trailer brakes. Our most popular brake controller is the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885. This controller sells so well because of how easy it is to setup and use, and because of how well it works.
