Is the Curt Fusion Ball Mount Welded or One Piece and Will It Hold Up to the Rigors of Towing
Updated 09/25/2020 | Published 09/23/2020 >
Question:
I am interested in this Curt Fusion Ball Mount but have concerns about the weld. The ball takes a lot of jarring abuse from bumps, accel and decel. How durable is the weld? Will it break under conditions that a standard ball would withstand?

I can assure you that Curt makes some of the most durable products on the market and these types of parts undergo rigorous testing during the product development stages, so it's been heavily tested in towing conditions and has proven to withstand all that can be thrown at it. Additionally, the Curt Fusion Ball Mount # C45134 has a lifetime limited warranty against defects and malfunction, which tells me that they're confident this will hold up for as long as you want to tow with it.
