Can the Curt E16 Head Be Swapped Out for the Curt A16/A20 Head

Id like to upgrade the head of my Curt E16 slider hitch. Im looking at the A or Q series. Ive read here that the Q20 and Q16 may be compatible. Are any A series compatible like the A16 dual jaw?

Yes, the Curt E16 Hitch Head can be swapped out for the Curt A-Series or Q-Series. The A-Series is the new design and what I recommend using. It has a more secure locking jaw system than the Q-Series among a few other things. I recommend using part # C16520 or if you want to upgrade capacity, part # C16540 for 20,000 lbs.
