This hitch has the backbone to pull serious 5th wheels. It’s rated for 20,000 lbs gross towing weight and 5,000 lbs vertical load limit, so it’s built for large campers and toy haulers. The sturdy steel construction with a carbide powder coat finish stands up to long hauls and rough roads while keeping the connection solid mile after mile.
The interlocking two-piece jaw wraps fully around the king pin for a firm hold that cuts out the rattles and jerks common with slide-bar designs. That 360-degree contact gives a smoother ride and more security on the road. It also makes hookup easier since the head self-aligns as you back in, keeping things steady and predictable when you’re hitching up solo.
With the 3-point color indicator, you can tell at a glance if you’re ready to uncouple, couple, or tow—red means uncoupled, yellow means ready to couple, and green means locked for towing. Both the handle and hitch show the color coding so you don’t have to climb in the bed to check it. When you unhook, the handle resets itself into the ready-to-couple position so it’s set next time you hitch up.
For tight turns at slow speeds, the integrated S20 slider moves the hitch 12" toward the tailgate to give your trailer extra clearance from the cab. It latches automatically in both directions so you only need to get out once. The slider rolls smoothly without binding and uses an easy lift-style lever that’s comfortable to reach over the side of the bed when switching between positions.
When it’s time to free up your bed space, just pull one pin to lift off the head—no tools required. Built-in zerk fittings make lubrication simple so everything moves easily when coupling or sliding. The included plastic lube plate helps the king pin glide smoothly into place for fast, clean hookups every trip.

Awesome works great for standard bed
Everything went very well and it is installed with no issues. Plan on taking the camper out this weekend.
What a mess, the item listed is for two boxes listed under one tracking number. Still waiting on second box which they say has a problem. First box was open and in shambles. The rubber handle is torn and I have tried to upload picture but computer is being difficult.
Representative very helpful with the order to make sure I was getting the right part of my truck. Order package well and ship on time and receive in the 3 day delivery window.

Don't really know how this works since the base was lost in shipment and I had to send the head back because I actually needed something that I could hook the fifth wheel to. Ended up spending quite a bit more money to resolve the matter out of town with no options.
Installation went smoothly, havn't hooked up to trailer yet but everything seems to work smoothly. Hitch delivery was a day early.

Amazing product fit perfect with no issues whats so ever being that this kit is for a none fifth wheel truck option and was able to easily install with no problems, We have owned it over a year and still looks new and works perfect we tow a 44 feet RV very often with no issue and really recommend this product hands down !!!!!

The hitch has worked very well. It is very sturdy, and I have had no problems. I would recommend this to someone with a short bed for the ability to slide the hitch.
First, the is a very heavy duty hitch. I watch the etrailer videos and the installation was simple. No issues at all. Second, I order from Matt who was very helpful an knowledgeable on the product. He said it would be delivered in two days. I laughed but low and be hold it was delivered in two days and the packing was incredible. I Thank you Matt for all you assistance.

My hitch is working great still. Easy to use no issues.
I previously owned the Curt A16. We needed a larger tow capacity so we purchased the A20 and decided to buy the S20 slider base as well. Too many sharp turning issues with our 6’8” Chevy standard bed HD3500 during maneuvering. The S20 slider should eliminate this issue. Also I love the design of both the A20 and S20.
