Hitch Extender for 2.5 inch Hitch of 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500

Question:

Can I use a hitch with a hitch extender? I will need about 16-18 inches of hitch extension and 7 inches of drop. The trailer is about 3000 pounds and the tongue weight is 175 pounds The tow vehicle is a 2020 gas sliverado 3500 hd What do you recommend?

That shouldn't be a problem but what is the hitch size of your 2020 Silverado? It could be a 2 inch, 2-1/2 inch hitch, or even a 3 inch hitch. Measure the inside height and width and let me know.

Best option would be the Reese Titan Extender part # RP45292 which fits your hitch size and can be trimmed down to 24 inches. It has the capacity you need as well.
