Features to know about

Fixes Short Harness Problems: 24" 7-Way Extension

When your trailer wiring just won’t reach after adding a hitch extender or camper setup, this harness bridges the gap. The TorkLift Wiring Harness Extension for 24" SuperTruss Hitch Extender gives you a full two feet of extra length between your tow vehicle and trailer. It’s built with the correct 7-way plug on one end and matching socket on the other, so you get a clean, secure connection without fabricating your own cable.

Built to Handle Full Trailer Power: 12- and 16-Gauge Wiring Mix

This harness uses the right wire sizes where it counts. The turn, brake, reverse, and running light circuits use 16-gauge wire, while the power, ground, and brake power leads step up to heavier 12-gauge. That makes sure your brake controller and charging circuits get the current they need without voltage drop or overheating.

No Splicing or Wire Matching Needed: Plug-and-Play 7-Way Blade Ends

Building an extension from scratch means matching functions and colors that rarely line up. This TorkLift extension skips all that. It has a pre-wired 7-way RV blade connector and socket that plug directly into your existing vehicle and trailer connectors. You won’t need to cut, splice, or guess at wire functions—just plug it in and go.

Works with Hitch Extenders and Tow Setups Alike: Universal Fit Design

Whether you’re towing with a hitch extension, a camper overhang, or just need extra reach, this harness fits into any standard 7-way RV blade system. The universal design keeps it simple and reliable for a wide range of towing setups.

Video Transcript for In-Depth Review of the TorkLift Wiring Harness Extension for 21" SuperTruss Hitch Extender

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Torque lift line of wiring harness extensions for use with the super truck hitch extenders. These are available in several different lengths. Just depending on how long that hitch extender that you're using is going to be. This is Torque's Lifts 36" extension that matches their 36" super stress. If you're going with the longer super truss, get the longer. If you're going with the shorter, get the shorter. Really a nice option to where you can plug it right into the back of your vehicle, bring your power down to where it's right here, readily available and accessible for you to get to. What we're going to do is take our, what looks like a trailer plug end, we're going to pass it through our bracket.

It's just flexible enough we can kind of bend that bracket so allow it to come through. Then here's what we want, that's our 7 pole connector. We're going to be bale to hook our trailer up right here. We've got the nice safety chain connections there an then also our wiring connection. Slide that in.

We're pass our screw through the face there and then just put our nuts on the back. Now, the hardware's not provided so you'll need some hardware to pass through there. You can see our bracket's kind of got the oblong holes to make it to where it'll fit a lot of different style harnesses. I'm going to put a flat washer on to give our nut a good surface to bite to when we tighten it down. Now we can go ahead and tighten those down as well. At that point, we're mounted on, got a nice secure connection point.

We can basically just plug this right into the back of our truck. You don't want this to be hanging down underneath our hitch where it might drag or something like that. That will complete today's look at the Torque Lift wiring harness extensions for the super truck hitch extender.

Great product! My 4-runners electrical trailer plug was set so far underneath that needed this extension.

by:

Great product!! Worked perfect!!
Fast
delivery and ask for Jesse in sales he knows his stuff and can answer any questions. Great company to do business with.

by:

Informative and helpful staff and all items showed promptly and as described. Great customer service!!

by:

Excellent products, superior customer service from Wayne and everyone at etrailer.

by:

I've had the opportunity to shop etrailer three times. Once we needed a specialized cable in a short period of time. They have an extensive selection and they have excellent service. The cable I mentioned was rushed and arrived in time for us to leave on a camping trip. I find their prices competitive and they keep you posted on the status of your order. Excellent site for shopping.

by:

Plugged it in and right tail light stayed on no matter what I did. Took the covers off to check the wiring and found 1 strand of black wire touching the brown post. Apparently no testing was done on the product after it was built otherwise it solved my problem of a short cable.

by:

Received quickly but the box was showing signs that a struggle had taken place and the box lost. Upon opening the boxes I found that several pieces from the installation kit were missing, I called and an entire new installation kit was quickly shipped to me. Installation was easy and I have been very happy with the customer service.

by:

Just looking at the product picture it does not look solid wiring.
looks wrinkled up.
I received 7 prong connector yesterday and didn't fit one end to the my car was fine
but trailer to male connector did not.
the way it was put together impossible to hook together.
Nice people at etrailer sending me another one to try.
I hope i just got defective one.
I was happy it was made in USA !

by:

Works as intended.

This product makes things simple. I rather spend my time on the lake than making this wiring extension myself!

Still working great!

by:

Well made 7-pin extender cable. Recomm ended!

by:

Extremely overpriced product. Go make your own and save your money.

by:

Direct connect no problem

by:

Works great. However, not as easy as to attach to the extension as video shows. Video shows a flexible grip on the plug and you can bend the finger grips to slide through the opening to attach it to the extension bar. Not even close, pull grips are hard plastic and I had to remove the plug, thread the wire, the reattach the plug. Luckily, I have enough DIY knowledge I was able to accomplish the mission.
They need to update the video and let people know attaching it to a extension is a little bit of work...not as easy as the video shows.

  • 7-Way Extension for Towing Food Truck with 2003 Ford Expedition
Thanks for the picture of the trailer wiring connector you have. Based on that you are in need of a 7-way blade extension like the part # C56080 for a 7 foot long extension or part # HM20049 for an 8 foot long extension. Or if you are looking for something shorter you'd want the part # TLW6024 which is 24 inches long.

Hey Aaron, We do have an extension for you to go from your truck's 7-way to your trailer's, but the # PK12-724 isn't one of them. This is actually an adapter to go from a 7-way round pin to a 7-way blade, so it isn't an extension. But thankfully, we have exactly what you need, which is the following: - TorkLift Wiring Harness Extension # TLW6024 This will give you a 24 inch extension and yes, it will work just like the factory set up so you're good to go.

The Hitch Box Extension and Reducer # RP45292 is designed to be used with the Reese Titan 2-1/2" receivers. As the shape of this receiver can alter slightly with sharper edges it does not always fit a stock receiver properly. The kit you mentioned has plugs on both ends and you'll need a plug on one end and a socket on the other.
