The Replacement Upright for CE Smith Bunk-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers - Lanced - 39" # CE27605PG will absolutely help more than the angled posts for the visual to help you center your boat on the trailer, but they aren't designed to really push the boat. If you want something to help push the boat for alignment, then you really would be better off using the CE Smith Roller-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers - 21" Tall - 1 Pair # CE27610 which is designed to help push the boat to center on the trailer.
