The 2006 Toyota Tundra will not have the under dash connector unless it was equipped with the factory tow package that includes the factory 7-way trailer connector at the rear bumper.
Since it appears that you do not have the factory 7-way, the install will be a bit more involved, but is still certainly doable. You will need our Brake Controller Install Kit, part # ETBC7 to hardwire the brake controller. If your Tundra does not already have a 4-pole trailer connector, you will need to install one using part # C59236. You will not be able to use the # 3040-P.
The Brake Controller Install Kit includes an adapter that will convert the 4-pole to a 7-way, plus all wire, hardware and circuit breakers necessary to successfully complete the install. If your truck has the long bed, you will probably need an extra length of wire, part # 10-2-1.
I will link you to the installation instructions for the # ETBC7 kit, as well as a link to an install video that will walk you through the process, step by step.
