Where is the factory brake controller harness located on a 2006 toyota Tundra crew, Thanks.

Expert Reply:
As long as your 2006 Toyota Tundra has the factory tow package that included a 7-Way trailer plug at the rear of the vehicle, you will be able to find the brake controller port under the dash, to the left of the steering column. It should be taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal. Also note that there is a second ground wire (white) that will need to be connected in order for the brake controller to function properly. I have included a link to the installation details for the brake controller below for reference. I have also included a video showing installation on a 2010 Tundra.
