Where Does the 4-Flat Connector from Wiring Harness # C56039 go on a 2010 Mitsubishi Endeavor

Question:
Maybe it will be evident after I open the car up, but is there a slot to fish the wires from inside the vehicle to the undercarriage? Documents only describe connection inside the car.

There may be an access point to fish the 4-flat connector under your vehicle behind the side trim panels on your 2010 Mitsubishi Endeavor, but after you install wiring harness, # C56039, the installation instructions state to store the connector in the trunk area when not in use. When you are ready to tow, you simply feed the connector over the door threshold and shut the rear hatch door.
Be sure you keep the wires away from the hinge so the wires do not pinch. There should be a rubber seal going around the door threshold that will keep the wires from pinching when you close the rear hatch. I have attached a photo showing this for you to check out.
