This Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector plugs straight into existing factory connection points. There’s no need to cut or splice any wires, which keeps the install simple and helps maintain your vehicle’s wiring integrity. The harness routes cleanly through the rear cargo area and uses a powered converter to correctly match trailer lighting signals.
A strong ground is essential for the converter to function properly. The included white wire attaches to a clean metal surface on the vehicle using the provided self-tapping bolt and ring terminal. This dedicated ground ensures steady operation of your tail, turn, and brake lights so your trailer lights work every time you plug in.
Once installed, the 4-flat connector provides running light, turn signal, and brake light functions for your trailer. When not in use, it stores inside the cargo area to keep it clean and protected. When you’re ready to tow, just pull it out over the door threshold, close the rear hatch, and you’re good to go—no need for extra brackets or exposed wiring.
If you decide later to add trailer brakes or power a trailer battery, this 4-way can easily connect to a 7-way installation kit such as the ETBC7. That means you can start with basic lighting today and upgrade when your towing needs grow, without having to redo your wiring from scratch.

I added 1 extra small bolt and washer not included in package. Maybe wasn't necessary but I wanted it to be grounded well.
The product was top notch and customer service was even better. It took less than ten minutes to install and test the harness assembly on my 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor!
