Features to know about

Add More Hauling Options: Class III 2" Receiver for Everyday Use

This hitch opens up your vehicle to all kinds of gear. With a 3,500 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 350 lbs tongue weight, it’s built for light trailers, cargo carriers, and bike racks. When used with weight distribution, those capacities increase to 5,000 lbs GTW and 500 lbs TW. The 2" x 2" receiver size matches most common towing and accessory setups, so you can hook up your gear without searching for special adapters.

Install It Yourself Without Drilling or Welding: Bolt-On Custom Fit

The fully welded square-tube hitch bolts right to the frame with no drilling or welding required. It comes with a complete hardware kit and detailed instructions so you can get it installed using tools you likely already have. The bolt-on design lines up with factory mounting points for a clean fit that looks like it belongs there.

Built to Handle the Elements: Durable Powder-Coated Steel

This hitch is constructed from powder coated steel that’s both sturdy and resistant to corrosion. The gloss black finish is layered over a protective base coat, giving it long-term rust resistance and a clean look under the bumper. Precision, robotic welds add strength where it counts, giving you confidence that the hitch will stay solid through repeated use.

Ready for Real-World Use: Works with Ball Mounts and More

Whether you’re towing a small trailer or hauling bikes to the trailhead, this receiver is made to handle everyday jobs. Ball mounts, pins, and clips are sold separately so you can choose the setup that fits your needs. And if you’re using a weight distribution system, the hitch is rated to support it—making it ready for balanced towing performance when hauling heavier loads.

Looks good looks like it will line up have to wait till tomorrow. Have to take off muffler for exact fit. THANK YOU

by:

Correct hitch for my 2008 Endeavor. It looks great! I did have my mechanic put it on but for most Saturday mechanics, it should not be too difficult.

by:

Awesome product, installation was bree ze.

by:

I haven’t install it yet but it really looks great and strong to carry heavy loads.

Picture to follow once I install it.

by:

Took an hour to put on very simple customer service is great

by:

Fantastic! The hitch and wiring harness were received within 3 days of ordering!!! Installed within an hour. Your company is VERY customer oriented. I will HIGHLY recommend your site to my friends. And lastly, the price was less than half of other companies I researched. Signed, one extremely happy customer!

by:

Easy installation

by:

That was the easiest wiring harness I ever put on any vehicle. And the hitch was pretty easy too. They were very nice products I am very happy and satisfied with them thank you very much

by:

Happy with trailer hitch. They recommended and delivered the right one for an affordable price .

by:

Great customer service shipping was fast and packed well. Install was spot on 30 mins. I bundled hitch, ball mounts and wiring. It saved me hundreds....

by:

Hitch fit perfect! Fast shipping! Received the hitch in 2 days. Highly recommend etrailer.com. Great installation video. Was very easy to install.
Best on the internet and remarkable prices!

by:

Good quality. It fit without any modifications. All supplied hardware was good. Everything worked great. No troubles after a year. The customer service was what really impressed me, I received a phone call after I placed the order to let me know of a delay in shipping and other options that would work better for me.

Great product at a great price. Local
mechanic installed for a small fee. Very satisfied with trailer hitch and transaction.

by:

I had the hitch installed by a mechanic and he was really impressed how perfect every thing fit together. I have sent the pictures of the hitch installed. It looks great! The only thing that had to be loosened
was the muffler. All the hardware that came in the package was perfect. I am a senior person and had it install by a shop for $60.00 which beats getting under there myself.

by:

great product fast shipping and easy to install. 30 minutes installed. I recommend using a swivel socket for the hard to reach bolts. increased the value of my 2007 Mitsubishi endeavor. looks good and also have a vehicle that is more versatile to use with my towing now . I sent an email as to which hitch was best for my suv. and the response was great and spot on

by:

The hitch fit perfectly on our 2010 Mitsubishi Endeavor. The wiring harness took less time to install than getting out my tools. Great fit for the car. I only had an issue getting the threads on the frame clean enough to thread the bolts in. This is my second etrailer installation and I would recommend their hitches to anyone!

by:

The product is well made. But, is NOT designed to work with the mitsubishi's muffler. There is a gap of about half inch between the muffler and the hitch. So the muffler bumps against the hitch frame and creates a lot of rattling. The two hitches also showen are for the 2007 endeavor are the way to go.

by:

The hitch and wiring mounted easily and looks terrific! The instructional videos were clear, concise, and provided all the information I needed. Best of all, they matched my actual experience, so the actual install went just as expected. I have a hitch that the pros couldn't have installed better. Thanks, etrailer!

Shipping = Two thumbs up! Ordered at start of weekend, delivered early the next week.

Quality of product = Two thumbs up! You can't ask for a better built product. Very rugged, welded very well, and protected from elements by a great paint job. (powder coat is more flexible then traditional paint therefore endures abuse better than paint).

Appearance/ Fit: If I had more than two thumbs, you would get them all up!!! Looks great on the vehicle, had to cut nothing on the rear bumper. Looks as though it came from the factory that way.

Instruction set = Two thumbs down!. Very simple instruction set. No mention to all of the components that had to be removed to actually access the bolts on the drivers side. the video tutorial that was displayed on webpage shows to remove ONE exhaust hanger when in reality, all 3 of the hangers needed to be removed to be able to work around the heat shield around the muffler.

Ease of installation = Two thumbs up! - Once the prep work was done, ie: moving the driver side components and muffler, pre-threading the bolts, etc. The task of actually installing was quite easy.Using a floor Jack made installation easy as pie. Great fit helped as well. Holes lined up with holes in frame perfectly.

I understand that you cannot have a video for every make/model of vehicle but the instrcutions should definately be specific to the vehicle that the item is purchased for. No mention about the driver side hose that is right in the way. So the instructions should be changed to say that the "novice" will spend a minimum of 2 hours doing this.

All in all, I think this hitch is a great product. I would recommend to anyone I hear of looking for a hitch. My only issue is with the instructions as this is what I based my time on. So anyone reading this review and considering this product, BUY IT!!! You will not regret it.

I ordered this Curt hitch & wiring kit for our 2007 Endeavor mainly because I’ve purchased other Curt products before & was very pleased with their products. Build quality is first rate, as with all other Curt products I’ve purchased. The set up couldn’t be simpler as they’ve thought of everything in their design & engineering so that it’s pretty much a “plug & play” process. In addition, the directions are clear & concise. Great product, Made in USA! Great price, thanks to etrailer.com!

The product itself seems to be fine. The installation I found impossible because I could not, no matter how hard I tried, get the screws to start in the frame of the vehicle. I cleaned the hole as well as I could. Sprayed WD 40 to help the screw catch and screw in. It would not grab. Also even if I did get them to grab I could not have maneuvered, without the proper tool around the muffler. Yes, I took both muffler clamps off, but I still could not have gotten a socket wrench in that small area. I am bringing the frame to my local garage where I have my oil changed tomorrow. I'm sure they will not charge much to install it making this purchase still far and away a better price I was quoted by my local Hertz dealer. They quoted me a price of almost $500.00. Even with help from my mechanic I should still be well under $300.00 dealing with etrailer. Again, the hitch and accessories seem top notch. Maybe if I had the proper tools I could have done a better job at the installation. I certainly do not blame etrailer for that. Thank you.

I love my trailer....about a month after I installed it, I was rear-ended by an inattentive driver. Their van sustained the most damage...my hitch made one heck of a clear impression on it! I was surprised by how strong it is and it's still usable after getting hit.

It is a good idea to replace the hitch after an accident because it could have damage such as hair line cracks that you cannot see. If you inspect the hitch and it does not show any signs of damage, I definitely recommend to at least replace the hardware with # RHK. The hardware is designed to be torqued down and sustaining impact may have loosened up the hardware. You can put the part number for the hitch in the box on the product page for the new hardware to receive the correct hardware.

by:

Fantatic. All I can say. Bought the Curt hitch based on reviews and read the instructions and watched the video. Everything was dead on!
Received the product within 3 days of my order, had a follow up from a rep and I installed the hitch with help from son in law. Cleaned out the weld nuts with a tap I borrowed which made the job much easier on a 11 year old SUV
Suggest a tap over trying to clean out the weld nuts with a steel brunch.
Quality. Fit.. Price. It's all there with the service and the product.
Thanks.

Working Great

by:

I got exactly what I needed, very easy to install, the instructions are very straight forward. The tow bar was delivered right away. Overall everything was excellent!

by:

Very pleased. Selling point was the installation video demonstration on my specific vehicle. The video and instructions were very accurate. I think it took me about 1 hour and 15 minutes. That included getting the tools out. I installed it alone in my garage floor. I had a little trouble getting the side bolt on the drivers side due to some water sealer (caulk) on the under body panels.

I also ordered the wiring harness. The instructions were not quite as thorough but it was very easy to figure out. Plugged right in. No wire splicing. I used an extra tiny bolt for the ground wire.
