Can the Ground Wire On the Hopkins Endurance Easy-Pull Harness Be Shortened

Question:

Usually the ground is shorter than the other wires. I need a full length 25 feet as its going on a boat trailer and Ive had issues with corrosion.. thanks

In regards to the Hopkins Endurance Easy-Pull Harness part # HM38136, the ground wire (black with white stripe) is the same length as the other wires which is 25'. If you don't want to run the ground wire to the rear of the trailer you could easily trim this and attach it where you see fit.
