Question:
Hello, Im looking to install a hitch and trailer harness on my 2006 Toyota Sienna. With my other car Im unsure where the hitch and wiring harness were installed from, Ive always had an issue of the connector not sealing well, and the contacts always getting corroded. Which harness do you offer that will be least likely have this issue? I.e which would seal the best Thank you

Hey Nate. All the connectors are going to seal up about the same and have identical issues. What you need to do is use Dielectric Grease item # 11755. It covers your contact points and keeps moisture away. It also helps with conduction.
To add a hitch to your 2006 Toyota Sienna, I recommend our etrailer item # e98837. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Toyota with included hardware.
The etrailer Hitch item # e98837 is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It is made in the USA and weighs 40 lbs. This hitch has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 350 lbs tongue weight limit. This can be increased to 5,000 lbs and 500 lbs when used with a weight distribution system.
For a wiring harness, you'll want the Curt item # C55580. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Sienna's wiring harness, which is located behind the tail lights. It will provide you with a 4-flat connector that will control your trailer's lighting functions.
What kind of trailer do you have?

Hey Nate, did the Dielectric Grease help with sealing the connectors on your Sienna? I'm curious because it might help others facing the same issue.
