Troubleshooting Trailer Hitch for 2009 Toyota Highlander Where Holes Don't Line Up

Question:
trailer hitch holes dont line up. We hook up passenger side, driver side holes are off by at least 1inch.

Looks like the hitch # e98858 you ordered was bent in shipping. This is unfortunately more common than we'd prefer but what you can do is bend the flange out to so that the holes line up. As long as there's no creasing or paint flaking the integrity of the hitch will be fine.
