Question:

I just received new trailer hubs from etrailer. AKIHUB-545-2-2K I wanted to know do i need to add any grease once i install the hubs? If so, what type. Thank you

What you have now is a standard 2,200 lb axle spindle which we have replacement hubs that will fit and work great like the etrailer hub # AKIHUB-545-2-2K which has the bolt pattern you need as well.

Actually the hub comes pre-greased so you don't need to add any grease once they are installed. There are some mechanisms that will allow you to pump grease into an installed hub like EZ lube spindles or Bearing Buddies but those typically cause people to over fill the hubs which causes the seals to blow out. When it's time to put new grease in the hub the LMX Red grease part # L11390 is the way to go as it's the heaviest duty option and it's waterproof.
