Blue Ox Alpha 2 Is Stuck and Won't go Fully Into Storage Position

Question:
I can not see where anyone else has had this issue. It simply does not go down any further and it is stopped. The silver bolt doesn’t move right or left either. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help!

Thank you for the purchase of the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar # BX7380.
This issue is likely that it is just stiff right now, and that over time, with more usage it should loosen up.
